**Position:** Accounts Payable/Receivable Specialist
**Location:** Remote
**Type:** Part-time (5-10 hours/week) more hours will come as our business grows. Please keep this in mind when you apply with us
**About Us:**
We are a leading real estate photography company with two locations based out of Denver and Phoenix (Denver Lens & Desert Lens). We specialize in creating high-quality imagery, videos, virtual staging, floorplans, and much more for real estate listings. Our mission is to enhance property presentations through professional photography and editing, helping our clients attract more buyers and sell properties faster.
**The Role:**
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accounts Payable & Receivable Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial processing, a deep understanding of accounting principles, and specific experience in managing both accounts payable and receivable. This role requires excellent communication skills, as you will be working closely with both our internal finance team and external vendors and clients to ensure accurate and timely financial operations. The job will also include organizing and preparing financial reports prior to their analysis and submission. Our team provides a comprehensive training program to get you started on the right track.
**Responsibilities:**
– Process and manage invoices, ensuring accurate entry into the accounts payable and receivable systems.
– Perform quality checks on financial documents, including invoices and payment proofs, to ensure compliance with company standards.
– Organize financial data and prepare assets for monthly closing processes.
– Coordinate with vendors and clients to manage payments, resolve discrepancies, and maintain accurate financial records.
– Communicate effectively with the administration team to support financial decision-making.
– Manage and prioritize financial tasks to meet tight deadlines and support end-of-month closing processes.
**Requirements:**
– Proficiency in financial software, with a strong emphasis on accounting platforms such as QuickBooks or similar.
– A solid understanding of accounting principles, including the handling of accounts payable and receivable.
– Experience with financial reconciliation and the ability to manage financial records accurately.
– Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
– The ability to work both independently and as part of a team, demonstrating strong organizational and time-management skills.
– A reliable internet connection and access to a computer capable of running accounting software.
– Part-time availability of 5-10 hours per week. This is a position that you can grow into, with the potential of it being a full time job later this year
