Job Description:

As an experienced bookkeeper at Bardown Sports, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the day-to-day financial operations of our organization. We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive individual who possesses advanced knowledge of QuickBooks, accounts receivable management, and a willingness to adapt to new systems and technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

– Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in QuickBooks.
– Process accounts receivable transactions, including invoicing and collections.
– Reconcile accounts and bank statements to ensure accuracy and compliance.
– Assist with month-end and year-end financial closing procedures.
– Generate financial reports and assist in budget preparation.
– Collaborate with the finance team to improve financial processes and systems.
– Stay up-to-date with accounting regulations and best practices.
– Assist with audits and provide financial data as needed.
– Perform additional financial tasks and projects as required.

Qualifications:

– Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role.
– Proficiency in QuickBooks and other accounting software.
– Strong knowledge of accounts receivable processes.
– High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
– Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
– Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
– Coachable and eager to learn new systems and technologies.
– Energetic and adaptable with a positive attitude.
– Effective communication skills, with a high level of English Proficiency
– Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred).
