Our growing accounting firm is seeking a talented and motivated Bookkeeper Account Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be the communication manager & point of contact for our clients, ensuring efficient, accurate & timely response to all internal & external correspondence.
Responsibilities:
* Manage daily communications between clients & team members, routing group emails, phones, & texts to the department, and providing accurate answers & resources to clients
* Build strong, trusting relationships with clients, acting as their connector to internal teams
* Proactively identify and address client needs, recommending additional services to enhance their financial well-being
* Collaborate with departments including leadership team and senior accountants to ensure accurate and timely completion of client deliverables
Communicate complex financial information to clients in a clear, concise, and understandable manner
* Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and accounting software advancements
* Maintain meticulous attention to detail and ensure quality control of all bookkeeping tasks
Required Technical Skills & Experience:
* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred)
* Minimum 1+ years of experience in financial management, audits, bookkeeping or a similar role
* Proven proficiency in task management apps (e.g. Asana, Slack)
* Proven proficiency in accounting apps (e.g. QuickBooks Online)
Soft Skills:
* Proactive, assertive, and sense of urgency in driving to reach goals
* Precise, “by the book”, fast-paced, and literal in interpreting rules, schedules, and results
* Detail-oriented and thorough; works to ensure things don’t fall through the cracks, and follows up to ensure they’re done properly and on time
* Driven to achieve operational efficiencies: thinks about what needs to be done and how it can be done and how it can be done as fast as possible while maintaining a high-quality outcome; Impatient with routines
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Team player with a positive and proactive attitude
Basic Skills:
In addition to having excellent English skills, you’ll need to use the applications we listed below. You don’t need to be an expert in all of them, but you need to be at least familiar with most of them.
Project management software (Asana, Go High Level, ClickUp, Monday, Slack)
Google Workspace & Calendar
Web research using search engines like Google, IE, Bing, etc
Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint
Gmail and other email applications
Google Docs, Sheets, Slides
Canva
Communications apps like WhatsApp, Skype, FB Messenger, Zoom, Meet, etc
Work Schedule & holidays:
This is a full-time position Mondays to Fridays 7am – 3pm CST. You’ll qualify for 3 vacation leaves and 3 sick leaves after the 6 month probation period. We honor most Filipino holidays except for All Saints and All Souls Day.
