Job Summary:
The Real Estate Acquisition assistant is responsible for identifying and acquiring real estate properties that meet the company’s investment criteria. They will work closely with other real estate professionals to identify and evaluate potential acquisition opportunities. The Real Estate Acquisition assistant will also negotiate purchase agreements and manage the due diligence process to ensure that each acquisition is successfully completed.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Must be able to do at 50-100 outbound calls and follow up a day.
Conduct cold calls to potential property owners and brokers to identify acquisition opportunities.
Maintain accurate records of all cold calls and follow-up activities.
Use strong communication skills to effectively pitch the company’s investment criteria and acquisition strategy.
Utilize cold calling and other lead generation methods to identify potential acquisition opportunities.
Evaluate potential properties based on the company’s investment criteria, including financial performance, location, and market trends.
Identify Potential Acquisition Opportunities:
Establish and maintain relationships with real estate professionals.
Evaluate potential properties based on the company’s investment criteria, including financial performance, location, and market trends.
Negotiate Purchase Agreements:
Negotiate purchase agreements with property owners, and other stakeholders.
Ensure that all necessary approvals and permits are obtained before closing.
Manage Due Diligence:
Oversee the due diligence process to evaluate potential acquisitions.
Coordinate with third-party consultants, such as appraisers and inspectors, to assess property condition and value.
Identify and mitigate any potential risks associated with the acquisition.
Closing and Transition:
Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure a smooth closing process.
Develop and implement a transition plan to ensure a successful handover of the property to the property management team.
Provide ongoing support to the property management team to ensure successful property operations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in real estate, finance, or a related field.
Must be able to use CRM like Podio, ASANA REIA , salesforces
3+ years of experience in real estate acquisition and real estate cold calling or related field.
Strong understanding of real estate market trends, financial analysis, and due diligence processes.
Excellent English negotiation and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Knowledge of local real estate laws and regulations.
