Position Overview:
As an Acquisition Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the acquisition team in identifying, evaluating, and executing strategic opportunities for business growth. You will collaborate closely with various departments to ensure seamless coordination throughout the acquisition process. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Cold Calling and Lead Generation:
Conduct cold calls to potential acquisition targets, introducing our company and our interest in exploring real estate opportunities.
Utilize a consultative approach to understand the needs, challenges, and interests of the businesses contacted, aiming to establish a strong foundation for potential acquisition talks.
Maintain a high level of professionalism and brand representation during all interactions.

2. Database Management:
Accurately log all outreach activities, responses, and follow-up tasks in the database, ensuring information is current and accessible for strategic planning.
Analyze data from cold calling activities to identify trends, successes, and areas for improvement, adjusting strategies as necessary.
3. Follow-Up Communications:
Conduct follow-up communications with prospects who have shown interest, providing additional information as needed and maintaining engagement throughout the preliminary phases of the acquisition process.
Utilize a mix of communication methods, including email and phone calls, to nurture leads through to the meeting stage.
4. Feedback and Reporting:
Provide regular feedback to the acquisition team on the status of cold calling efforts, including challenges faced, positive outcomes, and suggestions for strategy adjustments.
Prepare reports on outreach activities, outcomes, and metrics to inform future cold calling strategies and business development efforts.
Qualifications:
– Prior experience in mergers and real estate acquisitions, corporate development, or investment banking preferred.
– Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and financial information.
– Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
– Proficient in Google Docs, particularly Google Sheets, and Docs.
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
– Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
– Proactive attitude and willingness to take initiative in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
