Job Description

Schedule: 40 paid hours per week | Full-time Day Shift

Shift: 8am – 5pm Sydney/Melbourne time
Monday – Friday
Client Location/Timezone: Australia, AEST

Client Overview: Provides renovation and repair services to property owners in Melbourne.

Job Responsibilities:

Core Role Outcomes – What are the 3 core Priorities / Outcomes they will be responsible for:

1. Communication – All jobs in the pipeline are updated and completed at each stage within the timelines specified and with the information/tasks that are required.

Stakeholders including clients and team are made aware and chased to complete next steps.
2. Bookkeeping – All supplier invoices are matched to the correct job and task in Wunderbuild and Invoices are generated within 24hrs of completion and paid on time.

3. Estimating – Initial preparation of project estimates based on scope of works that the client will provide.

4. Systems and Processes – All tasks involved in the completion of core role outcomes are documented as SOPs and updated periodically

What are the core metrics that will define success for each outcome:

1. Clients are not asking “where is my job at”. We provide at least 1x weekly site diary to provide an update on the status of works.

2. Job costing and reporting is correct and clear and accurately allocated against the correct costing item in the job.

3. Limited time for me to modify estimates when the client begin pricing work

What are the critical Tasks that if done well will make success inevitable:

Timely responses to clients
Daily update for invoices received – Will take time to learn on where to allocate costs
Required to communicate by Phone/Email/SMS to clients, team, suppliers and stakeholders
What are 5 pain points this role is designed to address:

Converting information from reports into cost estimate templates.
Enter costing on a daily basis to be able to then charge client or schedule payment to trades.
What software are they likely to be using in this role:

Wunderbuild
Xero
Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

Knowledge of the construction process
Professional written English
Flexible and desire to learn more and increase skill sets.
Preferred Qualifications

Training of WunderBuild would be great
Technical Requirements (Laptop/Desktop):

Processor: At least Intel i3 6th Gen/AMD Ryzen 5 3rd Gen/MAC OS Intel i5 6th Gen
at least Memory: RAM 8GB
at least Windows 10 for Windows, or Catalina or better for MAC OS users
at least 25mbps Postpaid Internet speed
