Job Description

This is a remote position.

Job Brief

We are seeking a responsible and experienced Admin & Sales Travel Consultant to undertake various administrative and sales tasks in our boutique online travel agency. This role requires the ability to work independently from home and demands maturity, experience, and resourcefulness. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with Meredith, the business owner, who operates from home offices in Australia and Thailand.

Requirements

Excellent Customer Service Skills and Professional Phone Manner.
Good Knowledge of Asian Countries such as India and Sri Lanka.
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
Wordpress Website Skills.
Work Experience as a Travel Agent or Tour Operator.
Fluency/Native English Speaker.

Desirable Education:

Degree, Diploma, or Certificate in Hospitality, Travel, Tourism, Business, or a relevant field.
Personal Travel Experience will be considered an advantage.
Interest in the Yoga, Health & Wellbeing Industry.

Responsibilities

Sales & Marketing Duties:

Sales/Business Development: Source new leads and prospects through various sales channels and prospecting methods.
Sales Calls & Emails: Reach out to new prospects via phone calls and emails.
Handle Incoming Sales Enquiries: Manage incoming sales inquiries received via the website, phone, and email.
Account Management: Contact and liaise with the existing customer database via phone and email to update them on new products and services, such as e-newsletters via Mailchimp.
Contact Travel Agent Contact List: Communicate with the Travel Agent contact list for The Yoga Dept.

Admin Duties:

Organize Meredith’s to-do list and calendar.
Design and write tour itineraries using existing templates to send to customers and upload on the website.
Website Updates and Changes: Perform updates and changes on the website using WordPress.
Update CRM Contact Details: Maintain updated contact details in CRM systems such as Mailchimp and Xero.
Liaise with Tiwari’s Graphic Designer, Website Designer: Coordinate with external designers for graphic and website-related tasks.
Research Work: Conduct research to find new destinations for yoga.
