Job Summary:
Seeking an Administrative Virtual Assistant with a background in sales and marketing, particularly in event management. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive administrative support while actively contributing to sales and marketing initiatives. Responsibilities include coordinating events, managing marketing materials, conducting market research, and assisting with post-event analysis. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, proficiency in administrative tasks, and a creative mindset for effective marketing strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in the coordination and execution of sales and marketing activities, with a focus on event management tasks.
• Manage administrative duties such as email correspondence, calendar scheduling, and document preparation for events and marketing campaigns.
• Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to develop promotional materials, including brochures, flyers, and social media content.
• Support the planning and organization of events, including venue booking, vendor coordination, attendee registration, and on-site logistics management.
• Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor analysis, and opportunities for strategic marketing initiatives.
• Provide administrative support during events, including handling inquiries, managing registrations, and ensuring smooth event operations.
• Assist in post-event activities such as gathering feedback, analyzing metrics, and preparing reports to evaluate event success and inform future strategies.
Requirements:
• Proven experience as an administrative assistant with a focus on sales and marketing, preferably in event management or related industries.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, Google Workspace, and familiarity with event management software/tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients, vendors, and team members.
• Creative mindset with experience in developing marketing materials and content creation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability to meet project deadlines and objectives.
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field is preferred.
