Position overview: Touring independent rock musician seeks a motivated, detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support various administrative tasks. The ideal candidate should be highly organized, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge or appreciation of punk music and a familiarity with queer- and transgender-related content is a plus.

Responsibilities:
Diverse project portfolio: You will work on a wide range of projects across three different domains: rock band management, apartment management, and personal assistance. These projects encompass various tasks such as data entry, research, scheduling, and more. Your ability to adapt to different challenges is key to success in this role. Ongoing training will be provided.
Sample projects:
Obtain and evaluate quotes for band merchandise manufacturing (T-shirts, CDs, etc.).
Solicit quotes, bids, and proposals for apartment repairs and tenant preparations.
Update band profiles and information about supporters.
Update public records about albums that have already been released.
Research travel options and accommodations.
Check insurance coverage and schedule medical appointments.
Calculate and submit FSA or health insurance reimbursement requests.
Research potential press leads.
Create or populate a system for keeping track of appliances’ and instruments’ serial numbers, purchase information, and other warranty-related information.
Sample ad hoc tasks:
Create and manage event listings for upcoming concerts.
File and follow up on service work orders with service providers and/or home warranty company.
Research and recommend subcontractors for specific tasks.
Draft notices (official letters) to tenants.
Research rents for comparable apartments.
Copy edit press releases and flyers.
Respond to basic marketing requests regarding upcoming concerts.
Conduct post-concert data entry and archiving, including submitting set lists for royalty collection.
Create online listings for band merchandise.
Sample routine tasks:
Manage calendars and schedule appointments.
Monitor purchase return windows.
Draft and test email newsletters.
Adapt and schedule social media content.
Monitor news events affecting social media posts.
Alert on merchandise orders and contact form submissions.
Generate shipping labels and send order confirmations for merchandise orders.
Categorize and tag income and expenses in a simple cloud-based platform.
Ongoing training will be provided.
Qualifications:
Excellent English-language written and verbal communication skills.
Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Familiarity with Google Suite (Gmail, Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Calendar).

Work schedule and holidays: This is a full-time position. Mondays through Fridays, 6am to 2pm PT (Pacific Time) preferred, but other arrangements may be possible. You’ll qualify for paid time off after your first three months, and most Filipino holidays will be honored.
