Students Explore Australia Pty Ltd is on a mission to connect young people with nature, to improve the wellbeing of the next generations. We predominantly achieve this through delivering 3 main services:
* School Camps to Middle School and High School students across Australia
* Australian Aboriginal Culture focused camp programs (On Country Camps)
* Camps for young people who have significant and permanent disabilities (NDIS Camps)

ROLE DESCRIPTION

In this role, you will be a powerhouse administrator that can also gladly serve customers through phone and email. Additionally, you’ll support our team’s operations by taking care of tasks such as weekly reporting for all team members, making sure our buses are booked in for their regular maintenance and processing bus hires invoices. This role will directly impact how smoothly our team functions so if you do a great job, the team will love you!! The role can be summed up into 3 major components:

– Providing customer service and administrative assistance on the phone and via email to people enquiring about group transport, tours and bus hire (40%)
– Assisting with administration of our NDIS Camp Programs – and being able to chat with parents and carers about their registrations and any information they need (30%)
– General business related administration such as invoicing, reporting on staff metrics and maintaining our bus mechanical maintenance schedules. (30%)

All training will be provided.

The Ideal Candidate will be a person who:

– has extremely strong administrative skills, and loves it!
– has extremely good English, both written and verbal
– has worked with Australian customers before
– can easily and naturally build friendships with people
– has high attention to detail
– is highly organised, almost obsessively organised

Other Requirements:

– Stable internet connection with a minimum standard of 20 mbps download / 5 mbps upload
– Life-long learner with a thirst for knowledge
– Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively as part of a team
– Knowledge about Australia, kids and/or the unique needs of people with disabilities

The role is permanent fulltime, however for the right candidate we are flexible to accommodate 4 days per week if you prefer, or work with you around specific work requirements you may have. Our office is located in Everard Park, South Australia 5035, and we work in the Adelaide time zone, which is 6:30am – 3:00pm in the Philippines. We welcome applicants who prefer to work from home, to skip the commute to work.
