RealAway is a growing property management company specializing in short and long-term rentals. We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Real Estate Property Operations Assistant to join our team. This role will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our properties. Your main responsibilities will include providing support to the property manager and handling administrative tasks.
Job Description:
As the Property Operations Assistant, you will be responsible for overseeing property operations, maintenance, and construction coordination. You will work closely with the property owner and the Guest Services Manager to provide exceptional guest experiences while maintaining the highest standards of property upkeep.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with contractors to ensure timely property construction and maintenance.
Oversee property operations, including scheduling and coordinating maintenance tasks.
Handle administrative tasks related to property operations.
Communicate with guests to address property issues promptly.
Search and onboard service vendors, ensuring quality service delivery.
Assist with cold calling property owners for potential property acquisitions.
Maintain a high level of attention to detail in all property-related matters.
Key Responsibilities:
Property Operations: Oversee property operations, including maintenance, repairs, and improvements. Coordinate with contractors and vendors to ensure properties are in top condition.
Construction Management: Work closely with contractors to ensure the construction and renovation of units are completed efficiently and up to our standards.
Guest Services Support: Assist with guest services as needed, including addressing guest inquiries, concerns, and issues promptly and professionally.
Vendor Management: Search for and manage service vendors, ensuring they meet our quality and reliability standards.
Administrative Tasks: Provide administrative support, including record-keeping, data entry, and other tasks as required.
Cold Calling: Conduct cold calls to property owners for telemarketing and potential property acquisitions.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in property management or Airbnb hosting preferred.
Familiarity with Airbnb and short-term rental operations.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Detail-oriented and proactive in problem-solving.
Ability to work independently and manage property operations effectively.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and property management software.
Ability to handle administrative tasks efficiently.
Self-motivated and able to take initiative.
High level of attentiveness to details
Flexible working hours and available at all times.
Operating within the Eastern Standard Time (EST) zone
Flexibility to adapt to changing tasks and responsibilities.
Prior experience in coordinating property maintenance and construction is a plus.
Schedule:
The Property Operations Manager is expected to work a regular schedule of 5 days a week, with flexibility to accommodate operational needs.
Salary and Benefits:
Salary: $950/month
