Appointment Prioritization: They help prioritize appointments based on the urgency of the patient’s condition, the type of service needed, and the availability of resources. For example, they may schedule routine check-ups separately from more urgent or specialized procedures.
Managing Time Slots: They allocate specific time slots for different types of appointments, such as consultations, examinations, procedures, and follow-up visits. This requires understanding the time requirements for each type of appointment and ensuring that the schedule is realistic and manageable.
