I am a super busy CEO of a construction company here in OHIO, USA. I’m looking for a Virtual Admin Assistant to take pressure off of me. I often have tasks that I cannot get to. My email inbox is a disaster. I need a reliable self-starter that I can give tasks to with minimal direction, and you take them and run. This requires an ability to research, learn and execute. Excellent critical thinking skills will be required for this position.
Here is an example of tasks that I need help with:
1. Organizing my email inbox and bringing to my attention items in order of importance.
2. Assistance in business development, creating new ideas and executing for an incredible customer experience.
3. Taking on random tasks that require you to research, execute and keep me updated. For example, I may give you customer info and access to a google drive folder and ask you to get all paperwork ready for a small claims lawsuit in Lucas or Wood County, OHIO. You would need to google the procedure for this or call their self-help line for information, and then fill out the paperwork and submit to me for approval. Once I approve, then I would have you submit it electronically to the courts.
4. Taking care of random tasks for me personally. I may ask you to research airfare for me. Or book tickets to an event that I want to take my daughter to. Or order flowers for my wife do be delivered to her. Really just anything that I need help with.
5. Create a power point presentation based upon an outline that I provide.
6. Read documentation for submission of cooperative marketing funds from our manufacturers and submit all information to them through their online portal.
7. Search for a marketer to write email and text sequences for my follow up marketing campaign. Develop a list of three that you feel would be an amazing fit for what we are looking for with information and cost. Submit to me so I can make a final decision and then hire and launch them.
8. Make basic entries into QuickBooks (we will train on this).
9. The ability to use Excel (more so basics but may request additional skills in future) to create and update spreadsheets to keep things in order.
You must have exceptional written and verbal English. You must be available to work Monday – Friday from 8am – 5pm. I may need help occasionally on a Saturday for a few hours but I will try to avoid that. But I need to be able to call, text or email you during those hours and you are ready to respond and get to work.
