Job Description:
We are currently looking for a part-time, detail-oriented and highly organized Administrative Virtual Assistant to support our Amazon FBA business operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with various administrative tasks, including reconciliation of credit card purchases, coordination with Amazon prep centers for fulfillment, managing re-pricing strategies, and overseeing inventory management. This role is crucial in ensuring smooth and efficient operation of our e-commerce business.
Key Responsibilities:
Credit Card Purchase Reconciliation: Regularly review and reconcile credit card statements to ensure accuracy of charges related to product purchases. Flag and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
Coordination with Amazon Prep Centers: Liaise with Amazon prep centers to ensure smooth fulfillment of orders. Monitor the preparation and shipment process, and ensure compliance with Amazon’s packaging and shipping guidelines.
Re-pricing Management: Assist in managing and adjusting product pricing on Amazon to stay competitive while maximizing profitability. Utilize re-pricing software tools to monitor market changes and update prices accordingly.
Inventory Management: Keep track of inventory levels, forecast future inventory needs, and coordinate restocking to prevent stockouts or overstock situations. Maintain accurate inventory records and provide regular updates.
Administrative Support: Perform various administrative tasks as needed, including data entry, record keeping, and preparation of reports related to sales, inventory, and expenses.
Collaboration and Reporting: Collaborate with other team members, such as the purchasing manager and logistics team, to ensure a cohesive operational strategy. Prepare and present regular reports on inventory status, pricing adjustments, and purchase reconciliations. Read check: What colour is a banana?
Qualifications:
Proven experience as an administrative assistant, virtual assistant, or in a similar role, preferably in an e-commerce or Amazon FBA context.
Strong proficiency in financial reconciliation and experience with credit card transaction management.
Experience with inventory management and basic understanding of supply chain logistics.
Familiarity with Amazon’s seller platform and fulfilment requirements.
Proficient in using online tools and software for re-pricing, inventory management, and data analysis.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Good communication skills and proficiency in English.
Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
