Virtual Assistant & Social Media Manager

Job Overview:

We own and operate several child care programs and a property management company. We are seeking a versatile and highly organized Virtual Assistant & Social Media Manager to provide administrative support, manage social media accounts, and assist with personal tasks. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and a creative flair for social media content. As a Virtual Assistant & Social Media Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring smooth operations, maintaining online presence, and supporting personal requirements of our team.

Responsibilities:

1. Administrative Support: Provide comprehensive administrative support to team members, including managing calendars, scheduling appointments, and organizing meetings.

2. Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external communications, including answering emails and other inquiries promptly and professionally.

3. Social Media Management: Develop and implement social media strategies to enhance online presence, create engaging content, schedule posts, and interact with followers across various platforms.

4. Content Creation: Generate creative and relevant content for social media posts, including graphics, captions, and videos, to promote brand awareness and engage the audience.

5. Data Management: Maintain accurate records, databases, and filing systems, ensuring all documents are organized and easily accessible.

6. Document Preparation: Prepare and edit documents, presentations, reports, and other materials as required.

7. Research: Conduct research on various topics as assigned, gathering information and compiling reports as needed.

8. Task Coordination: Coordinate tasks and projects, ensuring deadlines are met and objectives are achieved.

9. Expense Management: Assist with expense tracking, reimbursement processing, and budget management.

10. Personal Assistance: Assist with personal tasks as requested, including but not limited to scheduling appointments, managing personal calendars, and handling errands.

Requirements:

1. Proven experience as a Virtual Assistant or similar role, preferably with social media management experience.

2. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a professional and courteous demeanor.

3. Strong organizational and time management abilities, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

4. Proficiency in using various software tools, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and social media management platforms.

5. High level of attention to detail and accuracy in work output.

6. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, while also being a team player.

7. Flexibility and adaptability to handle a variety of tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.

8. Discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive information.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Experience working in a similar role within the industry.

2. Previous experience managing social media accounts for businesses or organizations.

3. Familiarity with graphic design tools and video editing software.

Working Conditions:
This is a remote position, requiring the Virtual Assistant & Social Media Manager to have access to a reliable internet connection and suitable workspace. The role may require occasional availability during non-traditional hours to accommodate different time zones or urgent tasks.
