Adobe InDesign Expert Graphic Designer

Note: We’re doing a sample task that we’re paying the qualified candidates a full day’s rate to do.

We are Katuva, a VA placement agency based in Idaho and we are seeking to hire classically-trained Graphic designer who is well versed in Adobe Creatives, particularly InDesign. THE MAIN REQUIREMENT IS PROFICIENCY IN INDESIGN. IF YOU ARE A SELF-TAUGHT DESIGNER AND/OR MAINLY USE CANVA, SORRY, BUT THIS JOB IS NOT SUITABLE FOR YOU.

This is a full-time position, at 40 hours a week. We are looking for somebody who can take raw data and format it properly into pre-existing templates in InDesign. They must be able to give a creative flair to template renditions for our client who is into commercial real estate, with a focus on real estate investments.

As headlined, we’re doing a sample task that we’re paying the qualified candidates a full day’s rate to do. To qualify to take the sample task, here are the requirements:

1. You must be able to submit a current portfolio – must contain current tasks (not from previous years or inactive sites)
2. You must feel comfortable doing Illustrator, Photoshop, and more important InDesign
3. You must have gone to school for graphic design or should be doing it for a couple of years already

The paid task involves working with multiple pages of templated materials in InDesign that came from the client . Your responsibility will be to input raw data supplied by the client as well. Given that his graphic designer can complete the task in 4 hours, it shouldn’t take long for someone proficient in InDesign to accomplish.

The successful candidate should possess the following:
• Proficiency in Adobe Creatives Suite esp. InDesign
• Work experience in Commercial Real Estate is preferable
• Attention to detail
• Creativity
• Effective communication skills
• Can work autonomously or as part of a team and meet deadlines
