ADVANCED LEVEL VIDEO EDITOR

We are looking for a dedicated, talented, storytelling video editor who enjoys a challenge and can help us stay number one on YouTube for our industry.

This position will require someone to have real storytelling and editing skills. We are not looking for someone who can assemble a video based on specific instructions and micromanaged guidance. We want someone who can watch the main video and add the best footage and the best motion graphics for each episode. Someone who can feel the emotion in the content and enhance the audience’s experience. Sometimes videos will be complicated and have a lot of footage and edits and other times it will be incredibly basic. The style can range quite a bit depending on the information being provided.

Our perfect candidate will know Adobe Premiere Pro inside and out and have some capabilities in After Effects. They will have the ability to find stock b-roll or news clips on their own when not provided in the assets.
Our perfect candidate will be able to watch existing videos on our channel and copy the style and format within a short period of time working with us.

You will be working with the founder of the business who is the content creator for the channel and has 7 years of videography experience.

We require at least 4 years of full-time experience. High-speed internet and a fast computer are required as well.

There will be 3 chosen applicants who are given a short video sample and assets to edit. Each applicant will be compensated and the top two will go on to the next round of editing, and the one who comes out on top will receive the full-time position.
