Job Description

Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Advanced Technical Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting software and system integrations within our iPaaS platform.

They will work closely with internal and external stakeholders, ensure optimal performance of applications, and recommend improvements for seamless integration with third-party applications. The role may require off-peak work hours to minimize disruptions during regular business hours.

Must know integromat/. Custom make application develop a plus. You will build custom apps for the integration platform. An understanding of legacy accounting systems, SOAP, and XML.

Key Responsibilities:
Facilitate system integrations and develop custom applications within our platform.
Utilize web services/APIs such as REST or SOAP for external system integration.
Troubleshoot complex development, production, and integration issues.
Design, build, and integrate data from various sources.
Develop and implement APIs to connect systems and applications.
Test and troubleshoot APIs to ensure optimal performance.
Provide technical support to internal and external stakeholders when needed.
Create, maintain, and update technical documentation and procedural outlines related to application processes, systems, and API design.
Identify, administer, and resolve technical issues through root cause analysis.
Proactively monitor alerts related to application and system procedures.
Train staff and new hires on applications and system usage.
Prepare maintenance plans and upgrade schedules for organization systems.
Stay current with the latest software, applications, and API technologies and recommend improvements.
Analyze team functions and optimize workflow as needed.
Adapt and respond proactively to change and handle other essential tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., computer science or information technology) or equivalent experience.
Minimum of three years of experience in the administration and performance-tuning of operating systems, applications, and software.
Proficiency in using Make (formerly known as Integromat) and creating automated workflows between systems.
Experience working with APIs to connect systems and applications.
Demonstrated resourcefulness and IT troubleshooting skills.
Ability to convey complex ideas to individuals with limited IT and systems knowledge.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong customer service and relationship management experience.
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
High level of personal integrity.
Experience with technology clients and partners is a plus.
Comfortable with managing change, exploring new approaches, and adapting to software innovations.
Ability to fulfill responsibilities and deliver high-quality results on time.
Highly adaptable with the capacity to make informed decisions quickly to achieve the company’s mission, financial goals, and objectives.
