ABOUT THE ROLE
As part of the SWOOC Games Team, your mission is to create and maintain product/brand videos that flow cohesively based on a predefined outline, while creatively using effects and assets to engage the viewer.
• Producing highly-engaging and high-conversion video assets for our products and promotions to be used for all e-commerce websites, social media, & ads.
• Performing other duties within the skill set as required, such as 3D rendering and photo manipulation (improving the quality, color, lighting, etc.).
• Creating/providing applicable visual elements, such as illustrations and 3d animation, based on the provided content outline to be used in product and ad videos.
• Creating new product videos for product launches and editing existing customer review Videos.
• Updating existing product videos according to the company’s branding guidelines.
• Creating product assembly videos, social media videos, and GIFs.
• Ensuring timely delivery of completed videos, by collaborating closely with the Marketing team, to understand requirements and track deadlines
• Adding and editing raw footage and images, dialog, sound effects, graphics, and special effects to deliver high-quality and impactful video content.
• Applying SWOOC brand guidelines (color palette, typography, icons, etc.) to videos.
• Incorporating sound, music, graphics, text, and other effects as required to make videos more visually appealing.
• Improving the quality of videos by correcting lighting, color, tone, and faulty sections.
• Organizing and managing all audio and video assets to ensure a smooth workflow.
• Staying up to date with industry trends, editing software, industry best practices, and techniques to continuously improve the quality and efficiency of video editing processes, and identify improvement opportunities within the workflow.
ABOUT YOU
The ideal candidate must have the following knowledge, skills, and work experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent experience
• 2+ years of video editing experience in the e-commerce or digital marketing industry.
• Strong portfolio to demonstrate previous work
• Key Competencies: Creativity/Innovation, Results-oriented, Teamwork, Adaptability/Flexibility, Attention to Detail, Efficiency, Communication, Openness to Criticism and Ideas, High Standards
• Advanced level in Adobe After Effects
• Advanced level skills in illustration, 3D animation, photo manipulation, & editing
• Creative mind and storytelling skills.
• In-depth knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Photoshop, & Adobe Illustrator.
• Google Workspace
• Asana & Slack
• Internet & Tech Savvy
HOURS OF WORK PER WEEK
20-25 hours per week from Monday to Friday, 08:00 am to 01:00 pm EST.
SALARY & BENEFITS
• Salary is $5-$7/hour
• 13th-Month Pay
