Local SEO Specialist

Position Summary:
Contractor Scale is seeking a dedicated Local SEO Specialist to focus on improving the online presence and search rankings for our clients in the remodeling and home construction industry. Your primary role will be to implement effective SEO strategies, excluding link building which is outsourced. You’ll oversee content development and guide our web development team to ensure all client websites are optimized for search engines.
Key Responsibilities:
Account Management: Independently manage client accounts, ensuring each receives personalized and effective SEO strategies.
SEO Diagnostics: Utilize our SEO management tool for initial diagnostics and optimization strategies for client websites.
Keyword Strategy: Implement and refine keyword strategies, including analyzing Google Analytics for trends and opportunities.
Site Optimization: Address identified issues using our internal SEO tools to improve site performance and rankings.
Collaboration: Work closely with account managers to monitor keyword rankings and report on SEO efforts and outcomes.
Competitor Analysis: Utilize tools to analyze competitors and develop strategies to outperform them in search rankings.
Analytics Monitoring: Regularly review client Google Analytics data to identify trends or issues, such as high bounce rates or low traffic.
Documentation: Meticulously document all SEO activities and progress for each client account.
Team Leadership: Direct content creators and web developers to align with SEO goals and best practices.
Qualifications:
– Proven experience as an SEO Specialist, with a focus on local SEO in relevant industries.
– Strong understanding of Google Analytics, keyword research, and SEO copywriting best practices.
– Ability to manage multiple accounts and prioritize tasks effectively.
– Excellent communication skills for collaboration with team members and account managers.
– A commitment to staying informed about the latest SEO trends and best practices.
