AI Content Producer

5K Media is a fast-growing digital agency that helps companies across North America to grow using highly defined and profit focused digital marketing strategies.
We’re looking for a highly detail oriented person to use AI tools to produce long-form content for various projects and initiatives. Sometime content pieces will be under 1,000 while others may be 6,000-10,000 words or more, depending on the project.
This position is a full time, approximately 40 hours per week at an average of 8 hours per day, Monday-Friday. You will be paid every other week based on a fixed hourly rate, not per-project or per-article. You will have daily and weekly KPI targets to hit. For an experienced AI Content Producer (or someone who is driven and willing to learn quickly), those KPIs will be easy to meet.
We require the individual in this role to match at least 5 of your 8 working hours with our team’s core hours which are 8AM-3PM (Eastern Standard Time, EST). For example, the earliest shift you could choose would be 5AM-1PM EST, and the latest shift you could choose would be 10AM-6PM EST, or you could choose any shift range in between as long as you work 8 consecutive hours.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
The majority of your time (more than 70%) will be spent working in various AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, etc) on content production projects. This is a fast-paced job, and you will be doing a considerable amount of content production daily. Day to day work may include, but is not limited to:
– Using pre-built AI prompts to create content based on requirements provided
– Assessing the output of AI prompts, comparing it to requirements provided, and “fighting” a bit with AI to re-produce the output until it meets requirements
– Experimenting with variations of pre-built AI prompts and observing changes in output
– Using tools like Grammarly to ensure the produced content piece is easily readable and does not have spelling or grammar issues
– Occasionally writing part of a content piece (and on rare occasions writing most of the content piece) without any assistance from AI for specific projects that may require this (writing training and resources will be provided for individuals without formal writing experience)
– Doing basic research on the web to validate facts provided in content produced by AI
– Formatting the content produced by AI into appropriate sections with headlines, callouts, etc.
– Occasionally working in a web based page editor (e.g. in WordPress) to format content to be published to the web
WHO YOU’LL BE WORKING WITH
Our team is made up of experienced writers, PR coordinators, SEO specialists, business growth consultants, campaign managers, and more. We’ve been doing this successfully for years.
Day-to-day, you will be reporting to our Director of SEO and working alongside other team members to assist with ongoing content production projects.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
What’s most important in the person we are looking for is that they are insatiably curious. In other words, someone who will go beyond just using a proven AI prompt and wonder “but what if I told it this instead?” and then tries it.
We are hoping to find someone who already has some tactical real-world experience using AI to produce content, but we are willing to consider individuals without AI experience if they can demonstrate a strong desire to learn quickly.
