Role & Responsibilities:
Research, find, and negotiate with contractors – including cleaners and handimen
Act as primary point of contact for guests, respond to guest inquiries, questions and concerns.
Provide prompt communication and positive guest experience
Find answers for guests with little supervision using all the resources provided
Reviews (write reviews/dispute or remove negative reviews)
Create local guidebooks, as needed
Write photo captions
Requirements:
Strong command of English language including spoken and written
Communication response time to guests within 15 minutes
Commitment to achieving 5-star guest rating each time
Prior experience with Airbnb
Expert and in-depth knowledge of Airbnb Guest Policies, Host Policies, Airbnb deadlines/response times, Terms and Conditions, filing resolution centre claims and achieving successful outcomes, removing negative/inaccurate reviews
Strong knowledge of listing creation and best practices
Knowledge of VRBO platform, algorithm and optimization techniques
Excellent and prompt communication skills with a positive and empathetic voice
Attention to detail, pro-active and ability to think in advance to foresee future issues
Ability to problem-solve and must be resourceful to find a solution
Ability to follow company guidelines and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Prior experience using a channel management system or software – experience with or ability to learn Hostaway
Hours: Monday-Friday 5pm-11pm Eastern time, and on call 7am-11pm Eastern time Saturday and Sunday. Weekend hours will generally only be 1-5 hours of work per weekend or less, but you need to be available the entire time to promptly answer messages and phone calls and create solutions and you will be paid 40 hours per week regardless of whether you work a full 10 hours on the weekend.
