We’re looking for a Product Researcher to help us discover potential products to sell on using a proven product research method.
You’ll help us find products according to specific search criteria using Helium 10, and research potential suppliers in China and the costs to produce the products.
Experience doing Amazon product research with tools like Helium 10 or Jungle Scout is required. If you’re not familiar with Helium 10 or Jungle Scout, please do not apply. JOB ROLE: Amazon Product Researcher
• Software Access: You have you own license access to Helium 10 and/or Jungle Scout.
• Product research: Researching Amazon products, niches, categories, and competitors using Helium 10 Black Box and/or Jungle Scout according to specific search criteria (which we will provide)
• Keyword research: Doing keyword research using Helium 10 for potential products/niches using Helium 10 Black Box & Cerebro (and Jungle Scout if you have access)
• Competitor research: Identify min. 5 of the top competitors for the product competitors by revenue, keywords, product reviews, etc.
• Customer reviews: Checking the top 5 competitors product listings, download reviews and identify the top 5 features or things customers love about the product, and the top 5 or more things that customers have complaints and frustrations with the product. For example, download the reviews, and run key prompts with ChatGPT, CoPilot or other AI solution (and manual review) to efficiently identify the positives and negatives about the product
• Customer Needs & Problems: Identify what the customer need, or the customer problem, of why the customer is searching and to purchase the product. People purchase products to solve a problem, or to serve a need. Thus you will help identify these needs and problems.
• Customer Groups: Can you identify more than one type of customer who would need the product for different purposes. For example, for a customer who purchases a rubber resistance band, some customers may need it for exercises to get in shape, while other customers may purchase it for physical rehab to help aid in the recovery from an injury.
• Profit Analysis: Analyzing product profit potential using Helium 10 and our template profit calculator.
• Supplier Search & Quotes: Search Alibaba to attain a min of 20 quotes from suppliers covering their costs, MOQ, company information (ex. production capacity and other information (to be shared)
• Freight Forwarder Quotes: Search Alibaba to attain a quotes from freight forwarding companies covering their shipping costs and fees, company information, etc.
• Data Entry: Capturing the above information for products, suppliers and freight forwarders in a structured way via Excel templates and/or power point report template. Template reports will be shared.
• Other: Other related tasks to support business operations
• Future Opportunities: Support areas of digital marketing; social media, email marketing, SEO, digital advertising, etc.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
• Google: You can demonstrate experience using Google keyword research tools, Google Trends and other keyword and trend solutions online
• Problem Solving Skills: You’re comfortable to ‘think on your feet’. If you have a problem or don’t know how to do something, your motivated and ambitious to understand how to either learn about it to figure it out to solve it, and propose solutions. You can demonstrate the ability to learn autonomously (learn on your own) – if you don’t know something, you watch a tutorial and learn
• Customer Personas: Your familiar with customer segmentation and cohorts. Understanding different people or personas purchase products for different needs or problems to solve.
• Experience doing Amazon FBA product research using Helium10 or Junglescout
• Experience with Microsoft Excel and related Microsoft Office applications
• Experience using to search for products, suppliers and communicate with vendors
• High-level of written and spoken English
• Analytical and data analysis skills
• Time management and tracking

THE OPPORTUNITY

• Flexible work schedule (8 hours/day, 5 days/week, but you decide when you work)
• Monthly salary: Php 20,000.00 – 25,000.00, payable twice a month
