Skill Success is looking for a highly motivated and experienced SEO Content Lead to manage a team of three writers working on our two websites: Skill Success and RecruitPH. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing content creation, editing and publishing while collaborating with the SEO Lead and Off-page SEO Specialist to develop and implement comprehensive SEO strategies. The successful candidate will possess a deep understanding of SEO principles and best practices and a passion for content creation and management.
The ideal candidate should be a well-organized, self-driven individual with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. A minimum of two years of experience managing content teams and a proven track record of successful SEO campaigns are required for this role.
Responsibilities:
-Developing and implementing a content strategy: The manager is responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive content strategy that aligns with the company’s business goals and objectives.
– Managing content creation: The manager should oversee the creation of high-quality, engaging, and optimized content that is targeted to the audience and aligned with the company’s brand voice and tone.
– Managing content distribution: The manager should manage the distribution of content across various channels, including the company’s website, social media platforms, and email campaigns.
– Conducting keyword research: The manager should conduct keyword research to identify the keywords and phrases that are most relevant to the company’s products and services and incorporate them into the content strategy.
– Analyzing content performance: The manager should analyze data from various sources, including website analytics tools and social media analytics, to track the success of content campaigns and identify areas for improvement.
– Managing content calendars: The manager should manage content calendars to ensure a consistent flow of high-quality content that is aligned with the company’s objectives.
– Ensuring content meets SEO best practices: The manager should ensure that all content meets SEO best practices, including on-page optimization and keyword targeting.
– Managing team members: The manager should provide leadership and guidance to team members, assign tasks and responsibilities, and ensure that everyone is working towards the same goals.
– Optimizing website content: The specialist should optimize website content, including headers, meta tags, and website copy, to ensure it is optimized for search engines and targeted keywords.
– Managing internal linking: The specialist should manage internal linking to ensure that the website’s content is well-organized, easy to navigate, and optimized for search engines.
– Conducting website audits: The specialist should conduct regular website audits to identify technical issues, such as crawl errors and broken links, and provide recommendations for improvement.
– Managing website structure and hierarchy: The specialist should manage website structure and hierarchy, including URL structure and sitemaps, to ensure it is optimized for search engines and user experience.
– Implementing schema markup: The specialist should implement schema markup to help search engines better understand the website’s content and improve search engine visibility.
Qualifications and Skills:
– In-depth understanding of SEO principles and best practices, with a focus on content optimization.
– Proven content creation, management, and editorial skills
– Excellent project management, communication, and interpersonal abilities
– Solid knowledge of content marketing strategies and tactics
– Proficiency in working with artificial intelligence (AI) tools for content creation and optimization
– Basic understanding of HTML and CSS
– Familiarity with Semrush, Yoast, Grammarly, WordPress, JIRA, Slack, and Google Workspace Apps
– At least two (2) years of experience in managing content teams
