Position Overview:
Toms Key Company () is a quickly growing online store that provides do-it- yourself spare car keys and remote fob solutions to vehicle owners in the USA and Canada.
We are seeking an experienced, highly motivated and detail-oriented Amazon Account Manager to join our team of over 20 people (half in the Philippines), with proficiency in all aspects of Amazon Account Management and Seller Central to help drive sales and assist with the overall account health and growth. This position requires very strong spreadsheet analysis and problem solving skills often found in people with an engineering, accounting, math, finance, data analysis, or science background.
As the Amazon Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing our Amazon seller account, optimizing product listings, overseeing advertising campaigns, addressing issues within the account and ensuring the overall success of our Amazon seller operations. You will provide direction to our Amazon Ads partner at Quartile and may be supervising an Amazon Listing Specialist.
Job Type: Full-Time-40 hours per week with at least 4 hours between 8AM- 5 PM MST USA. This position has a 3 month probationary period before becoming eligible for full time benefits and a salary increase.
Responsibilities:
1. Monitor account health, respond to customer messages within 24 hours, resolve listing issues, and communicate with Amazon Seller Support as needed.
2. Expand our product catalog on Amazon, create new listings, optimize existing listings, and add complementary products. You may be performing this task yourself or guiding a team member to do this.
3. Monitor and make suggestions to the ads management team (Quartile) to optimize advertising campaigns, monitor profitability, and develop strategies for promotional events.
4. Monitor inventory levels, forecast future inventory needs, and coordinate with our Operations team to maintain sufficient stock at Amazon fulfillment centers.
5. Develop and maintain an intuitive and informative brand storefront on Amazon, including A+ content and multimedia materials.
6. Utilize Amazon Account data to prepare a reporting dashboard. Interpret the results and develop strategies to take action based on the account performance.
7. Address and resolve all account related issues, which may include navigating challenges within Seller Central and finding solutions to unexpected account problems. Prepare, submit, and ensure resolution of appeals.
Required Qualifications:
1. Minimum 3 years of experience as an Amazon Account Manager with strong proficiency in Seller Central.
2. Self-motivated and detail oriented.
3. Analytical mindset. Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets for data analysis and reporting.
4. Ability to view listings, content, copy and envision how to improve for better customer engagement and sales. Eye for graphic design and detail related to product listing images.
5. Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to work independently. Proficient in proactively collaborating with others on a team.
6. Fast learner with the ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
7. Flexibility with schedule to monitor account status frequently and address urgent issues when they arise (day/night/weekend), including responding to customer messages within Amazon required 24 hour SLA. Note: many needs are not urgent and can be resolved during regular work hours.
Desired Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree or higher, especially with a degree requiring strong analytic skills such as math, engineering, accounting, finance, business, sciences or similar.
2. Familiarity with or interest in cars/automotive industry
3. Experience supervising a small team – you may be responsible to lead another person or two who also support Amazon
