Job Title: Amazon Assistant (Part-Time)

Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive individual to join our team as a part-time Amazon Assistant. This role involves supporting various aspects of our Amazon operations, including inventory management, customer service, supplier relations, and administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, possess strong communication skills, and have a passion for e-commerce and customer satisfaction.

Experience of working with an Amazon Business is essential. Having experience of Amazon sourcing is required as some time may be spent doing this activity.

Key Responsibilities:

Chasing Invoices: Follow up with suppliers to ensure invoices are received and saved.

Bookkeeping: Some light bookkeeping involved so experience is preferred

Updating Inventory Spreadsheets: Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, pricing, and product details in spreadsheets or relevant software platforms.

Reconciling Shipments: Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and reconcile any discrepancies in quantity or quality.

Chasing Lost Inventory: Investigate and follow up on any instances of lost or missing inventory to ensure resolution and minimize financial impact.

Responding to Amazon Cases: Address customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints on Amazon seller platform promptly and professionally to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.

Contacting Wholesalers: Establish and maintain communication with existing wholesalers to coordinate orders, resolve issues, and foster strong relationships.

Researching New Wholesalers: Conduct market research to identify potential new suppliers and wholesalers, assess their suitability, and gather relevant contact information.

Updating CRM with New Wholesaler Information: Input and maintain accurate records of supplier details, agreements, and communications in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.

Qualifications:

Prior experience in e-commerce operations, particularly with Amazon seller platform is required.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or similar spreadsheet software.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proactive problem-solving ability and a positive attitude towards challenges.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Availability to work part-time, four hours a day, with flexibility for additional hours as needed.
