Job Description

We are a Canadian-based Amazon business that sells in all major Amazon marketplaces.
We are in the stationery/journaling business. We are looking for an experienced, self-starter to join our team as a Brand Specialist.

The Brand Specialist role is dedicated to ensuring that our brand processes on the Amazon platform are consistent, on brand, and leverage current best practices. This individual will require extensive Amazon experience and will work closely with the company Founder to proactively manage the business.

The successful candidate must be inquisitive. They must thrive on finding problems or opportunities and seeking solutions that may not be readily apparent. The candidate must love data and be able to use different data sources to create insight and solutions.

This role has three primary focuses: SEO and PPC Advertising; Sales and Financial Modeling, Tracking and Implementation; and Amazon Catalog expertise.

The Specialist must have the following skills:
1. Must be a problem solver that requires little oversight. You possess the drive to find solutions that align with the organization’s goals and objectives. You must be a self-starter.
2. Excellent proficiency in English with strong communication and writing skills.
3. A very high comprehension of Google Sheets and Excel.
4. Excellent understanding of and experience with the Amazon platform. Multiple years of experience is required.
5. Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.

Catalog Management
1. Solving inactive and suppressed listings
2. Contacting Amazon Support to resolve issues
3. Creating variations. managing & uploading products using flat files
4. Ensure listing retail-readiness and accuracy

Analyst
1. Create and document SOPs for sales, ranking, and financial data metrics.
2. Work with sales, ranking, and financial data to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights that drive informed decision-making.
3. Take proactive steps to address opportunities and issues either independently or with team members.
4. Monitor and resolve any issues with Seller Performance
5. Monitor Sales trends and increase product visibility by product-specific optimization
6. Identify and troubleshoot data issues, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of data sources.

Amazon SEO/PPC

1. Intensive keyword Research using Helium 10, Brand Analytics, and proprietary software
2. Assist the PPC team to meet corporate advertising objectives
3. Keyword research to ensure listing contents are optimized
4. Category & Competitor research & analysis

Other
1. Create SOPs
2. Assist in Inventory monitoring and forecasting
