Job Description

We are looking for an experienced, proactive and independent Amazon Catalog Management Associate to join our team! If you have experience with large product catalogs, flat file management and untangling messes in the backend of Seller Central, then this might be the position for you!

This could be the perfect role if you:
– are organized, analytical and self-motivated
– have 2+ years of experience managing catalog issues in Seller Central
– have experience managing hundreds of variations in a catalog
– are fluent in English written and spoken
– are able to work across functions and teams, supporting where needed
– know how to identify, diagnose and solve Seller Central issues and challenges
– are responsive easy-going, trustworthy and communicative
– are determined and won’t take ‘no’ as an answer from Amazon

Who we are
We are a small e-commerce company based in Texas, USA. We manufacture, import and sell a wide range of mostly evergreen apparel products on that are sold under 8 different brands.

The business is managed by the Founder and the COO. We have a small distributed team located all around the world.

Who you are
This is a role for a highly organized, self-driven, proactive, and persistent individual. You have to be reliable and execute your tasks in a timely fashion as catalog issues are often time-sensitive. You also need to be comfortable working independently and figuring out solutions when things don’t work the first (or tenth) time.
You’re ok with being assigned tasks by multiple people and assigning tasks to others as well. You’re a team player and used to reporting on your work.

We are not looking for someone to simply follow SOPs, but a person who can identify problems, gain an understanding of them, and then solve them in an effective way. After onboarding, you will be given challenges and responsibilities and expected to proactively deliver solutions and results without the need for much follow up.

About the Role:
These are some typical questions you will be finding the answer to:

– How can we best maintain our account health?
– How can we get our Amazon fees adjusted when opening size cases doesn’t work?
– How can we get our products moved to a different (the correct) category when Amazon says no?

And here are a few specific things you would work on:

– Fixing children SKUs broken apart from Parent
– Fixing stranded inventory issues
– Managing all flat file management and uploads
– Fixing NCX issues
– Creating cases and following up on them in Seller Central. Sometimes this will involve being on the phone with their seller support if issues are not solved by email.
– Fixing listing errors or alerting the relevant people in the organization responsible for the section with the error. Following up to ensure every issue is solved.
– Updating listings as needed/requested
– Ensuring Amazon is charging us the correct fees and open cases when we are overcharged
– Manage all reimbursement claims (lost and damaged, shipping reconciliation)
– Managing removal orders and following up
– Review management as needed

You will be introduced to our company and products, but we expect you to have the expertise and experience necessary to ‘hit the ground running’.

You will report to the Marketing Manager. We work mostly asynchronously, but you must be okay with occasional early morning or late evening calls to connect with the team as needed. Otherwise, working hours are flexible outside of scheduled meetings.

What we offer
– Full time position
– Salary: in the range of 800 – 1,100 USD depending on experience and fit
– Remote position. Fast, reliable internet is an absolute must. You must also be able to connect with Amazon via phone/Skype.
– Flexible hours. Outside of scheduled meetings, you manage your own time. We expect tasks and projects to be delivered on time and done well.
