Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Amazon Catalog Manager to oversee and optimize the backend operations of our Amazon seller accounts. This role is pivotal in maintaining active and profitable listings, ensuring seamless account performance, and adapting to the dynamic nature of the Amazon marketplace.
Key Responsibilities
Listing Creation and Optimization
Utilize GS1 UPC codes to facilitate Amazon product barcode acquisition for the production team.
Efficiently execute all steps required for initiating Amazon listings.
Expertly navigate Amazon Seller Central for listing management.
Listing Maintenance
Proactively keep all Amazon listings active and lucrative.
Promptly address suspensions and adverse listing changes.
Liaise with Amazon Seller Support for issue resolution.
Stay abreast of Amazon’s evolving policies and leverage these changes for competitive advantage.
Manage product reviews, including tracking, request for ratings, and responding appropriately to reviews.
Create promotions – coupons and discounts.
Generate and track Amazon Attribution links.
Account Management
Monitor and enhance Amazon seller metrics (e.g., IPI).
Respond to account or listing suspension alerts and recommend effective remedial actions.
Secure reimbursements for incorrect charges.
Customer Experience Management
Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to customer inquiries.
Reporting and Analytics
Conduct data entry for reporting dashboards and identify opportunities for automation.
Adaptability
Embrace and adapt to new responsibilities in the ever-evolving Amazon marketplace. We will likely have new responsibilities for you beyond what’s previously listed.
Required Competencies
Minimum of 2 years of in-depth experience with Amazon Seller Central.
Proficiency in tracking listing impacts via tools like Sellerise or Helium10.
Expertise in creating listings, managing variations, and fulfilling certificate requirements for diverse product categories (e.g., children’s products, electronics, hazmat goods).
Skilled in case management for listing modifications.
Proficient in flat file editing and management.
Time Commitment
Full-time position, 40 hours per week.
Required to have a minimum of 4 hours of work time overlap with 8 AM – 12 PM Eastern Standard Time, Monday to Friday.
