The ideal candidate for this role should have a comprehensive understanding of Amazon’s Seller Central platform, significant experience in product listing creation and optimization, and a track record of resolving complex catalog issues. Your role is crucial in managing and enhancing our Amazon product catalog to drive sales and deliver superior customer experiences.
Your responsibilities will include:
1. Managing and enhancing our Amazon product catalog through creating and updating product listings, optimizing product information, and ensuring accurate product categorization.
2. Creating and managing product variations in line with Amazon’s guidelines and best practices, using flat files.
3. Troubleshooting and resolving complex catalog issues like listing errors, suppressed listings, and product attribute mismatches.
4. Collaborating with internal teams to gather and verify product information, guaranteeing accurate and consistent data across all listings.
5. Performing regular audits of our Amazon catalog to identify and rectify any discrepancies, inconsistencies, or issues that may affect product performance.
6. Monitoring and analyzing product performance data to identify improvement opportunities and implementing data-driven strategies to boost sales and visibility.
7. Staying updated on Amazon’s policies, guidelines, and best practices, and ensuring compliance across all product listings.
The requirements for this role are:
1. A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with Amazon Seller Central, especially in catalog management and product listing optimization.
2. An in-depth understanding of how variations are created and managed, and the intricacies of listing attributes and their impact on product performance.
3. Proficiency in creating and managing flat files for bulk product uploads and updates.
4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the capacity to troubleshoot complex catalog issues and implement effective solutions.
5. Excellent attention to detail and a dedication to maintaining high-level data accuracy across all product listings.
6. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the capacity to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
7. Knowledge of Amazon SEO, keyword research, is beneficial.
