Job Description

As an Amazon Catalogue Maintenance Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the product catalogue by resolving issues on the backend of the platform. You will be responsible for fixing and maintaining product listings, creating variations, and collaborating with internal teams to enhance the overall quality of the catalogue. This position requires in-depth knowledge of Amazon’s backend systems, strong problem-solving abilities, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
• Identify and resolve backend issues related to product listings, including inaccuracies, category changes, variations errors, FBA weight and other inconsistencies.
• Fix and update existing product listings to ensure accurate information, proper categorization, and compliance with Amazon’s guidelines.
• Create Variations, Merge listings to streamline the catalogue and improve the customer shopping experience.
• Collaborate with internal teams to address and resolve catalogue-related issues and escalations in a timely manner.
• Ensure that product listings adhere to Amazon’s policies, guidelines, and best practices.
• Stay updated on changes to Amazon’s backend systems, tools, and processes relevant to catalogue maintenance.
• Provide support and guidance to team members regarding backend catalogue management tools and processes.
Requirements:
• Prior experience in backend catalogue maintenance or data files management on the Amazon platform is required.
• Deep understanding of Amazon’s backend systems and data tools, cases for managing product listings.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think quickly and act decisively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in resolving catalogue-related issues.
• Proficient in using Amazon’s backend tools and systems for catalogue maintenance.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and escalate issues as needed.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently while also being a team player.
• Adaptability and comfort in managing changing priorities and tasks.
