We need a proactive, well organized, detail-oriented person to join our team as a full-time Amazon FBA Inventory, Supply Chain and Shipments Co-ordinator. You will be supporting an e-commerce business selling products internationally across and other international Amazon marketplaces in the UK, EU and beyond.
The candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end inventory and supply chain management, e.g. inventory stock management, forecasting, restocking, product orders, supplier relationships, supply chain logistics, quality assurance, invoice payment administration and proactively managing shipments.
The person will have a key role in ensuring everything stays in line with quality, production and delivery timeframes and stock level targets across the entire business, across all marketplaces.
The candidate will work closely with the team to ensure products stay within target stock day timeframes to minimise storage fees and logistics costs, while ensuring the business stays in stock for all of its products.
You will be handling international shipments, restocks and re-orders for Amazon FBA from China to USA, Canada, UK, EU and local third-party provider (3PL) provider warehouses within each marketplace region.
The person will be responsible for monitoring and analysing many key performance metrics, including stock levels, sales velocities, product performance on Amazon and more.
We have more than 100+ SKUs and stock them primarily at Amazon FBA Fulfilment Centres (FCs). Our product is a seasonal portfolio so experience with managing inventory with high and low sales trends would be preferable. We use SoStocked inventory management in combination with Google sheet systems. training will be provided on our inventory management systems.
Ideal candidate should have:
– Excellent organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail
– 1+ years experience supporting an online Amazon business
– Managing FBA inventory, including restocks, forecasts and re-orders from local 3PL warehouses or China to USA
– Experience booking Amazon FBA shipments (LTL, SPD, etc.)
– WeChat account for liaising with freight forwarders and suppliers
– Excellent experience tracking and handling supplier orders
– Excellent experience with booking and managing sea/ocean freight shipments, air shipments, working with freight forwarders
– Excellent with Google Sheets / Excel for regular inventory reporting and order/shipment tracking
– Managing a database of orders, shipments, packing lists, expenses, invoices, cost of goods
– Managing inspections, defective unit reports and other quality control processes
– Experience with inventory management and forecasting systems (SoStocked preferable but not essential)
– Carefully checking invoices from vendors and suppliers for accuracy and payment
The job is a long-term, full-time role working 40 hours a week. We are looking for someone to join us long-term as we are an exciting period of expanding our growth into new marketplaces including Amazon UK, EU, Canada and Japan.
