WHEN APPLYING

We are a US-based e-commerce business looking for a Virtual Assistant (VA) to assist in finding profitable items to purchase from online retailers. This position is for 20 hours per week with potential for full-time of 40 hours per week. Pay day is weekly, every Friday.

At least 6 months experience in Amazon product sourcing via online arbitrage is a preferred. We are looking for someone who already knows what to look for so we can provide our desired profit and ROI and get started ASAP. We will provide access to SellerAmp and Keepa if you need. We may be willing to license additional tools for your use if it will make your tasks easier to complete.

THE ROLE
The role of a Product Researcher plays a crucial role in the Amazon e-commerce ecosystem. The quality of the work spells the difference between success and failure for the organization.

The main function is to find products from online supplier websites in the US that could be sold through , using various criteria such as profit, sales rank, and return on investment.

ROLE DUTIES
• Create and work towards achieving a daily plan of action
• Research and conduct analysis on online retailers and their product categories/product ranges, in line with the company’s profit and sales targets as well as budget;
• Consider various criteria in searching and choosing products, including competitor data, sales data, market/consumer trends, buying behavior, associated risks, and overall business environment
• Research to identify new product sources (retailers and manufacturers)
• Analyze profit performance of products and evaluate profitability trends as well as pricing strategy, using various tools such as Keepa and SellerAmp
• Monitor out of stock product lines and market trends
• Report findings via spreadsheet

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
• At least 6 months experience in Amazon product research and online arbitrage.
• Knowledgeable in Reverse Sourcing/Storefront Stalking
• Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills, including Data Analytics;
• Planning Skills/Time Management;
• Communication Availability – Facebook Messenger (Can use email as an alternative);
• Knowledgeable in Google Sheets/MS Excel;
• Communication Skills; fluent in English – spoken and written;
• Collaboration/Interpersonal Skills;
• Strong attention to details;
• Results-driven;
• Willingness to perform various functions; and
• With high regard for Integrity (no sharing leads with other clients), Excellence, Continuous Learning, and Creative Thinking/Innovation.

• A fast and stable internet connection (at least 5 MBPS)

PAY AND BENEFITS
• Pay rate: $60 US for 20 hrs of work per week
• Paid weekly (Friday) via PayPal
• A bonus will be paid for exceptional work
• Your pay will increase based on the standard of your work
• After your 90-day probationary period you will be paid for legal US Federal holidays that fall on a scheduled work day (meaning you will be paid for those Holidays but you will not have to work)
