Job Overview:

We are seeking an ambitious and detail-oriented Product Research Specialist to join our dynamic e-commerce team on a temporary basis with the potential for full-time employment based on performance. This role involves conducting extensive market research to identify profitable products for our Amazon FBA business. The ideal candidate will have experience with e-commerce platforms, particularly Amazon, and proficiency in using analytical tools like Jungle Scout and Helium 10.

Contract Term:

Initial Duration: 30 days from start date, with the possibility of extending to full-time employment based on performance and mutual agreement.
Objective: To complete a full cycle of product research, from identification through to initial sales data analysis.

Responsibilities:

Conduct detailed product research across various Amazon categories to identify viable product opportunities that meet our predefined criteria.
Utilize tools such as Jungle Scout and Helium 10 to gather, analyze, and report on data including sales trends, competition levels, and profitability.
Prepare and submit daily reports on potential products and market trends using the provided templates.
Collaborate closely with our team to refine research methodologies and strategies based on initial findings and feedback.
Participate in daily and weekly review meetings to discuss progress and receive ongoing training and support.

Qualifications:

Proven track record in product research, preferably within the Amazon FBA marketplace.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data to make informed decisions.
Familiarity with Amazon seller tools such as Jungle Scout and Helium 10.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet daily targets.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, in English.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Performance Evaluation:

Performance will be evaluated based on the accuracy of research, the relevance and profitability of identified products, and the ability to meet research targets.
Feedback loops will include daily updates, weekly summaries, and an end-of-period review to assess overall performance and potential for permanent role transition.

Compensation:

Competitive hourly rate for the initial contract period.
Potential for performance-based bonuses and transition to a full-time salary with additional benefits based on review outcomes.
