ROLE – What responsibilities will you own and lead?

— Inventory Management —
– You will own and lead forecasting, procuring & inventory level monitoring.
– Create order forecasts for each product group
– Provide insights, recommendations and risk analyses on upcoming forecast
– Coordinate purchase order placements and quality control checks
– Confirm purchase orders and track production lead times
– Monitor the inventory level, age, dimensions and FBA fees
– Develop and strengthen strategic relationships with existing/potential suppliers
– Establish clear communication protocols with suppliers and warehouses

— Logistics —
– You will own and lead product routing and transportation expenses.
– Validate purchase orders & supply chain selection
– Shipment creation, pick-up scheduling & delivery tracking
– Coordinate production, labelling and all supply chain-related tasks
– Analyze and improve lead times and transportation costs
– Analyze and source potential supplier, courier and warehouse options
– Establish clear communication protocols with couriers

— Quality Control —
– You will own and lead product audits and quality checks at every chain stage.
– Monitor product certification compliance
– Validate and track quality checks at every stage of the supply chain
– Conduct quality audits and provide insights on improving the process
– Track and measure performance of supply chain with targets, KPIs and ROI
– Establish clear communication protocols with suppliers and regulatory depts

— Lost & Damaged Control —
– You will own and lead lost/damaged shipment resolution (inbound Amazon receiving).
– Create cases for reimbursement submission for lost and damaged shipments
– Request BOL and delivery notices from couriers
– Ensure the shipment is delivered in full to the Amazon warehouse
– Create a process to minimize monthly returns / lost and damaged items

IDEAL CANDIDATE – Who we’re looking for

– Thrives on working effectively in a high-paced work environment
– Experience working on an Amazon account of one million+ annual revenue
– Highly analytical problem identifier and solver with a natural attention to detail
– Experience in improving efficiency of inventory issues, removal orders and LTSF
– Proficient in cross-checking replenishments to prevent stock out and achieve FIFO
– Ability to learn at a rapid pace (new systems / methods / processes)
– Proven ability to identify inefficiencies in supply chain management processes
– Excellent demand planning, forecasting and freight coordination skills
– Ability to take ownership of the role and adapt it to the growing needs of the business

QUALIFICATIONS – Our minimum requirements

– Minimum 2 years of experience in logistics / inventory management
– Minimum 2 years of experience in Amazon / e-commerce
– Experience with data analysis
– Advanced written English fluency
– Advanced spoken English fluency
– Ability to communicate daily with Head Office in Canada (Slack, email, phone)
– Fast and reliable internet connection (upload and download speeds)
– Ability to start ASAP
