Amazon Ecommerce Logistics Manager

Our company is an established ecommerce brand that has been in business since 2015. We manufacture sporting goods in Taiwan and China, and sell in the US and Canada via Amazon FBA, and also wholesale to Amazon via Vendor Central.

We are looking for an experienced Logistics Manager to backfill the role of our previous manager who was with us for 7 years. You’ll join our small remote team of two directors (Australia) and two in the Philippines (Marketing, accounting)

ABOUT THE ROLE
– The role is 15-20 hrs per week, $5 USD p/h
– Working hours are flexible, but needs to be most days in the Philippines morning, there needs to be overlap with 9am-5pm Australia timezone. Overlap from your 8am (or earlier!) – 12pm is perfect. If you can’t be available mornings – please don’t apply.
– Most of the time we communicate on Slack, but there are meetings on Monday / Tuesday – for reporting and planning orders.
– This is a work from home position, joining our existing Australian and Philippines based team. A suitable separate home working environment with reliable internet connection is essential.
– Weelky team meetings are held on Zoom and Slack.
– You will be working closely with one of the directors for planning orders, and the internal team to request PO payments etc.

This role is perfect for someone already part time looking for extra hours, or someone just wanting 15-20 hours p/w.
If you are already full time elsewhere this probably wouldn’t be a good fit for you as occasionally we do work more

RESPONSIBILITIES
– Booking international shipments, managing shipment documents for shipping broker, arranging delivery to our 3PL in USA + Canada.
– Updating weekly forecasts / inventory levels
– Booking shipments from our 3PL to Amazon FBA + Vendor Central.
– Supplier point of contact – Placing POs, payment confirmations, booking shipments
– Working with our director you’ll have qwnership of the supply chain – from placing POs, arranging our team to make payments, booking shipments, delivery.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
– Supply chain experience (1 3+ years ) – Bonus if you have experience in managing Amazon FBA / Vendor Central shipments, but – we can train the right person on this.
– You need a strong attention to detail, as you will be organizing and tracking international shipments (1-2 consolidated containers per month from Asia to our warehouse in the US), and weekly shipments from our warehouse to Amazon.
– Good english and communication skills, as you will be communicating with our suppliers, shipping broker, and warehouse.
Willingness to learn, being independent, and proactive taking ownership of your role is important to us.
– You’ll be independent and self starter – we have weekly meetings and chat on Slack, but most of your role will be independent.
