We are looking for an Advertising Manager to join our team at Kahl & Main, a specialized Amazon strategy and consulting agency, with a focus on client success.

A minimum of 2 years of Amazon advertising experience is required for this position.
Position Overview
This role is a full time position responsible for overseeing all client advertising services for Kahl & Main. The role of the Advertising Manager is to manage and communicate data, revise and implement systems, and oversee all advertising operations of the consulting business.
The ideal candidate will manage all aspects of the advertising department in coordination with our team of client managers, with potential for expansion in our sister company in the future.
The primary responsibilities all aspects of Amazon PPC advertising, including:
Create, manage, refine, and execute advertising strategy based on client needs
Manage and maintain budgets and performance criteria
Communicate key performance indicators in text, graphics, and dashboards
Collect and report data on Amazon and Seller Central
Communicate with team members and/or clients via in depth reporting
Use, update, and refine systems in task management software
Communicate through email and video conferencing
Evaluate, report, and analyze product data using various formats and softwares
Customize advertising strategy based on client goals
Available to work in the US time zone
Essentially, this role will be responsible for leading the advertising department within our agency, working closely with the owners to refine our current strategies and implement best practices for clients.
The requirements of each task are as follows:
Auditing – Full account and strategy audits will be conducted on an ongoing basis to provide insights, analysis, and recommendations for strategy within a market
Research – Provide keyword, competitor, and market research to plan, implement, and measure campaign strategy for markets, products, and clients
Budgeting – Track, maintain, and report budget and performance targets as determined by clients and other team members
Strategy – Understand, design, and implement a complete campaign strategy in all areas of Amazon PPC, including working with a creative team to design graphics and video. This may include DSP, launch strategies, Amazon posts, promotional support such as coupons, and other promotions as needed
Reporting – Ongoing reporting is expected, using the Google Suite or Microsoft 365. Reports may be internal or external (client facing), and include text, charts, and graphs. Reports will include campaign metrics and market share, and should include ongoing strategy recommendations and/or testing as needed
Other projects – This position requires flexibility and teamwork. With a goal of client satisfaction, other projects will be assigned to meet clients’ needs, including undefined projects or projects without standard operating procedures. This position requires flexibility and the ability to problem solve, to create, evaluate, and develop systemized processes for accomplishing tasks.
Kahl & Main uses Pacvue for bid optimization, and experience with Pacvue is preferred. However, this position will help determine if another software (such as Scale Insights) is a better fit in the future.
