As part of our remote team, you will play a critical role in helping us expand our Amazon FBA portfolio and maximise our profitability.
Position Overview:
As a Virtual Assistant – Amazon FBA Product Sourcing Specialist, you will be responsible for identifying high-potential products to sell on Amazon. Your primary objective will be to source products that meet specific criteria, including a minimum 30% Return on Investment (ROI) and a monthly sales volume of at least 30 units with limited competition.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Research: Conduct thorough market research to identify profitable product opportunities within specified niches and categories.
Competitor Analysis: Analyze competitors’ listings to assess pricing, reviews, and potential gaps in the market.
Supplier Outreach: Contact potential suppliers and negotiate favourable terms for sourcing products, including pricing, MOQs (Minimum Order Quantities), and shipping costs.
Data Analysis: Utilize tools and software to analyze sales trends, demand patterns, and pricing history to make informed sourcing decisions.
ROI Calculation: Calculate the potential ROI for each product, factoring in all costs associated with sourcing, shipping, and Amazon fees.
Quality Assurance: Ensure that sourced products meet quality standards and are suitable for Amazon FBA.
Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels to prevent stockouts and overstock situations.
Reporting: Provide regular reports and updates on sourcing progress, including the identification of profitable products and potential challenges.
Stay Updated: Stay up-to-date with Amazon’s policies, guidelines, and industry trends to adapt sourcing strategies accordingly.
Requirements:
Proven experience in e-commerce, particularly in Amazon FBA product sourcing.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
Self-motivated and able to work independently.
Access to a reliable computer and high-speed internet connection.
Comfortable working remotely and in a different time zone.
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with Amazon Seller Central and related tools.
Knowledge of product research and sourcing software.
Experience with supplier relationship management.
Prior success in sourcing profitable products meeting the specified criteria.
