This is a full time position, reporting directly to the COO of a $14mm/yr Amazon account.
Here’s the problem we’re trying to solve:
– We want 100% of our PPC spend to be focused on ranking keywords
– When we’ve achieved our target / top rank, we want to reallocate that spend to new keywords that aren’t ranking
– Repeat this process until we have “search dominance”
Search dominance = the percent of top 25 slots our catalog takes up for any given keyword.
We have a large catalog, so we want to make sure we’re getting as many spots as possible taken up with our catalog in search for the most important keywords in a niche.
As Amazon Rank Manager, your goal will be to:
– Manage the process of adjusting budgets, bids, etc. to achieve these goals
– Produce reporting around search dominance per niche (we can provide assistant for this, but you will have to master it first)
– Improve keywords on the listing to rank for more kws
– Work with our Creative Team to improve images, video, A+ content on the listing
As we look at reports, we want to see the following metrics improve:
– Total # of kws organically ranked in top 3, 10, 25 should be going up
– Total search volume reach on the catalog should be going up
– Total search dominance per kw should be going up
