Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Amazon SEO Manager to join our dynamic e-commerce team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Amazon’s search algorithm (A9), a proven track record of improving product rankings on Amazon, and an analytical mindset. The Amazon SEO Manager will be responsible for enhancing the visibility of our products on Amazon, driving organic traffic, and increasing sales.
Key Responsibilities:
-Develop and implement a comprehensive SEO strategy specifically for Amazon platform.
-Conduct keyword research and analysis to identify relevant keywords and develop a keyword list for our products (backend keywords and PDP content).
-Research and analyze competitor strategies on Amazon to identify opportunities for improvement.
-Create and update content regularly to align with SEO best practices and maximize organic ranking.
– Strategy Development:
– Develop and implement comprehensive Amazon SEO strategies to improve product visibility and rankings.
– Conduct keyword research to identify target keywords for product listings and advertising campaigns.
– On-Page Optimization:
– Optimize product titles, bullet points, descriptions, and backend keywords to improve search visibility.
– Ensure product listings are optimized for target keywords and are aligned with Amazon’s best practices.
– Off-Page Optimization:
– Develop and execute strategies to increase positive customer reviews and ratings.
– Monitor and analyze competitor strategies to identify opportunities for improvement.
– Content Strategy:
– Collaborate with content creators to develop high-quality, SEO-friendly product content.
– Provide guidelines and recommendations for product images, A+ content, and Enhanced Brand Content (EBC).
– Analytics and Reporting:
– Monitor and analyze product performance using tools like Amazon Seller Central, Amazon Advertising, and other analytics platforms.
– Generate regular reports on key metrics such as organic search rankings, traffic, conversions, and sales.
– Use data-driven insights to adjust strategies and tactics for continuous improvement.
– Stay Updated:
– Keep abreast of the latest Amazon algorithm updates, trends, and industry news.
– Implement best practices and innovative tactics to stay ahead of competitors on Amazon.
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
– Proven experience as an Amazon SEO Manager or similar role.
– In-depth knowledge of Amazon’s search algorithm and ranking factors.
– Proficiency with Amazon SEO tools such as Helium 10, Jungle Scout, Sellics, etc.
– Strong understanding of Amazon Seller Central and/or Vendor Central.
– Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
– Strong communication and teamwork skills.
– Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications:
– Experience with Amazon PPC and other Amazon advertising options.
– Knowledge of general e-commerce SEO and digital marketing channels.
– Certification in Amazon Advertising and/or other relevant SEO certifications.
