Amazon Supply Chain Specialist

What are we looking for:

Multiplymii is in search of an Supply Chain Specialist who will be working with our client dedicated to scaling great brands into global powerhouses. You will be responsible to ensure all inventory production and transport is meeting the needs of the business, and to drive cost/speed improvements in the supply chain.

Beyond your experience, we are also looking for someone who is professional and possesses impeccable English language communication skills in both written and verbal.

This role is 100% work from home.

In this role, you will:

– Freight & Purchasing Management. Work with Brand Builders and Inventory Managers to place purchase orders with suppliers according to demand forecasts, and schedule freight forwarding according to inventory needs.
– Operational Excellence. Measure and improve supplier lead times, reduce operational defects, and improve systems to streamline operations between suppliers and Forum Brands. Drive root cause analysis/reporting on operational issues, develop action plans and project manage improvements.
– Process Improvement. Work with internal teams to help drive tools and process improvements that affect purchasing and supplier management workflow, with emphasis on automating tasks that are currently performed manually.
– Supplier Management. Manage relationships with suppliers to ensure a reliable and operationally effective flow of goods. Seek out new suppliers to drive product/cost improvements or diversify our supply chain.
– Strategy & Planning. Drive cross-functional strategic initiatives to improve customer experience, business operations, and overall cost structure of the business. Perform complex business analysis to identify business opportunities to improve revenue and profitability.

About You:

Core qualifications:

– At least 3 years of experience in Supply Chain and in Amazon
– Experience managing supplier relationships and coordinating with domestic/international carriers
– Experience working with 3PLs for warehousing and order fulfillment
– Experience working cross-functionally and/or in matrixed organizations
– Strong analytical skills, comfortable with large data sets and rapid experimentation
– Highly organized with a critical attention to detail and impossibly high standards
– Clear and concise written and oral communication skills
– Communicative and a team player
