Job Description

Compliance Refinery operates a highly flexible work environment. The successful candidate will be able to work when and where they like provided they are able to fulfil their required function. We run a virtual office environment through Microsoft 365 infrastructure and use Microsoft Teams extensively. All team members work from home, across numerous locations in New Zealand. The successful candidate will be self-motivated who can deliver high-quality results, working autonomously in a collaborative high-performance culture.

WORK LOCATION: Remote, work from home-Philippines
AVAILABILITY: Can join immediately
CONTRACT: Full Time
WORK SCHEDULE: Monday – Friday / 5am to 2pm PHT
Saturday & Sunday Off

SALARY & BENEFITS:
• Php. 30,000 to 32,500 (basic monthly fee/starting rate) depending on skills and experience.
• Yearly Salary increase
• Chance for salary increase after Performance Review

Role and Responsibilities

Client liaison – Coordinate with clients upcoming jobs and engagements
Drafting and implementing AML/CFT Risk Assessments and Compliance Programmes
Assisting with reviewing client information, understanding policies, procedures, and controls.
Assist with AML administration tasks
-Updates in current tool and templates
-General administration tasks
Organize files and folders in SharePoint.
IT systems management – coordinate with IT for systems issue and access requests.
Additional workflow processing and management

Knowledge & Skills

A sound understanding of regulatory requirements and a baseline knowledge of AML/CFT, Client Due Diligence and KYC.
Exposure to drafting and implementing policies, procedures, and controls.
Knowledge on the Anti-Money Laundering and Countering Financing of Terrorism Act 2009
A degree or equivalent qualification
Highly collaborative with the ability to interact effectively and confidently with both internal and external stakeholders.
Ability to bring a risk focused mindset when drafting AML/CFT Risk Assessments and Compliance Programmes
Excellent written and verbal communication and critical eye for detail.
Strong time management and ability to prioritise and organise tasks effectively.
Understand other reasonable duties and responsibilities within capability and skills, as requested.
Can be left to get the job done and work independently but at the same time willing to collaborate and ask questions.
Is thorough and methodical in their approach.
Has a pragmatic view, keeps things simple and explains things with ease
Manages takes, is well-organised and manages expectations.
Can interpret legislation.
Takes pride in their work, values and self-improvement and personal development.
Reasonably the savvy – can set up a workstation to work from home.
