API Integration Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Integration Specialist to join our dynamic team. As an Integration Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in our organization by specializing in API integration and optimizing business processes through seamless software connections.

Responsibilities:
– Simultaneously handle multiple projects involving various resolution teams and clients.
– Assist in resolving technical issues encountered by both clients and project teams.
– Configure diverse API systems as needed.
– Conduct testing and manage issues and requests for new functionalities.
– Perform functionality tests on implemented scenarios.
– Contribute to technical adjustments in integration plans.
– Design, create, and sustain API integration solutions connecting multiple systems.
– Monitor API utilization, performance, and analytics to identify and address problems.
– Stay updated with emerging API trends, technologies, and best practices.
– Ensure that API integration solutions remain scalable and sustainable over time.

Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
– Demonstrated expertise in API development and integration projects.
– Proficiency in utilizing Make (former Integromat) for integration and automation tasks.
– Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, JavaScript, etc.) for automation purposes.
– Experience with database systems and proficiency in SQL.
– Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities.
– Strong communication and collaboration skills.
– Self-directed and skilled at effective task prioritization.
– Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.

Preferred Skills:
– Familiarity with other automation and integration platforms (IFTTT, Microsoft Flow, etc.).
– Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, etc.) and serverless architectures.
– Understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, REST, etc.).
– Familiarity with version control systems (Git, SVN, etc.).
– Prior experience in software development or related roles.
– Proficiency with Linux systems (server management).
– Knowledge in Networking (DNS, firewall configurations).
– Previous experience with Nginx or Apache.
– Familiarity with project management systems (Asana, Monday, Jira).
