About Champs MMA:
At Champs MMA, we are committed to providing innovative solutions for martial arts enthusiasts. We are currently enhancing our Champs MMA App to include a unique feature that counts reflex ball punches using audio input. This project is critical to us, as it adds a dynamic and interactive dimension to our users’ training experience.

The Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mobile App Developer with a strong background in audio processing. The developer will be tasked with solving a specific challenge: developing a feature that accurately counts reflex ball punches using the microphone. The app will “listen” to the sound of hits and will increase the counter by 1 for each hit. The app is currently under development using React Native, but we are open to incorporating native code for iOS and Android if needed.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement an audio processing feature within the Champs MMA App.
Ensure the feature can accurately count reflex ball punches with at least 90?curacy.
Work within a 20-second timer framework, where punches to the reflex ball are detected and counted.
Collaborate with our existing development team to integrate this feature seamlessly into the current app framework.
Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure functionality and reliability.
Requirements:

Proven experience in mobile app development, particularly in audio processing.
Proficient in React Native and/or native iOS and Android development.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work on complex audio recognition challenges.
A portfolio demonstrating previous work on audio processing or similar features.
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with a remote team.
Passionate about creating an engaging user experience in the sports/fitness tech domain.
