Tasks Scope:

Developer for Custom Notification Aggregator Feed Development

I’m looking for a skilled developer to create a very simple backend service that aggregates notifications from multiple sources, primarily Gmail APIs and a webhook, an estimate of 5-6 sources in total. The system will maintain a rolling window of the last 12 hours of data, displaying these notifications in a real-time feed accessible via a basic web interface. This will only be used by by internal team of four people.

I would like to work with an independent developer who I can communicate with directly over whatsapp. I do not want to work with someone who will outsource this to someone else or who has a team working under one account.

Project Requirements Summary:

– Email Integration: Connect to Gmail using the Gmail API to fetch new emails, filter, and parse based on specific rules.
– Webhook Handling: Setup an endpoint to receive and process webhook data.
– Backend Service: Develop a service using Flask (Python) that manages incoming data and stores it temporarily in Redis. The backend should also provide an API endpoint to fetch this data.
– Front-End Interface: A simple interface that displays the feed and allows users to scroll through notifications.
– Deployment: Prepare the application for deployment on a basic cloud server (I will provide access).

Ideal Candidate:
– Familiar with Python, Flask, and Redis.
– Experience with Gmail API and handling webhooks.
– Able to implement basic security features for web applications.
– Has a good grasp of developing and deploying small-scale web applications.

I anticipate this is a relatively small project and am looking for someone who can deliver efficiently. I have an estimate in my mind as to how long each of the mentioned project requirements would take and would be interested to hear your own estimates.
