Job Description:

Phase Multimedia is seeking a talented and experienced App Developer to join our team on a contract basis, working on a per-project arrangement. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of one year of experience working with an agency and a proven track record of developing high-quality mobile applications. The App Developer will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing innovative mobile solutions for our clients across various industries.

Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to understand project requirements, objectives, and specifications for mobile applications.
2. Design and develop mobile applications for iOS and Android platforms, ensuring compatibility, functionality, and performance across different devices and screen sizes.
3. Translate design mockups and wireframes into fully functional mobile applications, leveraging programming languages such as Swift (for iOS) and Kotlin/Java (for Android).
4. Integrate third-party APIs, SDKs, and services into mobile applications to enable additional features and functionality, such as social media integration, payment processing, and push notifications.
5. Conduct thorough testing and debugging of mobile applications to identify and resolve any issues or bugs, ensuring optimal performance, usability, and user experience.
6. Optimize mobile applications for speed, efficiency, and scalability, utilizing best practices and industry standards for coding, architecture, and security.
7. Stay updated on the latest trends, technologies, and developments in mobile app development, and recommend innovative solutions and strategies to enhance our mobile offerings.
8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, project managers, and quality assurance testers, to ensure seamless integration and delivery of mobile solutions within project timelines and budget constraints.
9. Provide technical expertise and guidance to clients and team members on mobile app development best practices, tools, and methodologies.
10. Document and maintain comprehensive documentation, including project specifications, code repositories, and version control, to support ongoing maintenance, updates, and enhancements of mobile applications.

Requirements:

1. Minimum of one year of professional experience in mobile app development, preferably within an agency or consulting environment.
2. Proficiency in mobile app development frameworks and technologies, including but not limited to Swift, Kotlin, Java, React Native, Flutter, or Xamarin.
3. Strong understanding of mobile app architecture, UI/UX design principles, and responsive design concepts.
4. Experience with version control systems such as Git/GitHub and collaboration tools like Jira or Asana.
5. Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet project deadlines and deliverables.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a passion for creating innovative and user-friendly mobile experiences.
7. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
