Job Description

The Appointment Setter will play a crucial role in our land acquisition process by making initial contact with potential sellers, gathering pertinent property information, and setting appointments for further discussions with our owners. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to build rapport with potential sellers.
Responsibilities Include-
Review and understand the list of warm leads to identify potential sellers who have shown some interest in selling their vacant land.
Make initial contact with leads through phone calls, introducing yourself and the purpose of your call.
Ask specific questions to gather detailed information about the property, including its location, size, zoning, current use, and any other relevant characteristics.
Confirm the ownership status and obtain information about any co-owners or other stakeholders involved in the property.
Determine the lead’s level of interest in selling their land by asking about their motivations, timeline, and any conditions they might have for selling.
Discuss the lead’s price expectations and any flexibility they might have in terms of negotiations.
Build rapport and trust with the lead by actively listening to their needs and concerns, and providing relevant information about Patriot Plots and the acquisition process.
Schedule follow-up calls or meetings as necessary to keep the lead engaged and maintain the relationship.
Update the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system or other databases with the information gathered during calls, including notes on the property details, seller motivations, and any follow-up actions required.
Track the status of each lead, categorizing them based on their level of interest and readiness to proceed with a sale.
Collaborate with the acquisitions team and other relevant departments to provide them with the information gathered and to strategize on the next steps for interested leads.
Prepare regular reports on the progress of calls, including the number of leads contacted, responses received, and the current status of potential deals.
Address any objections or concerns the leads might have about selling their property, providing clear and concise information to alleviate their doubts.
Supply leads with any additional information they request, such as details about the acquisition process, company credentials, or market trends.
If a lead shows strong interest, set up appointments for site evaluations, further discussions, or meetings with senior acquisition team members.
Ensure that all interactions and agreements are well-documented and communicated to the relevant parties within the organization.
Qualifications-
Proven experience in a customer service, telemarketing, or appointment setting role.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to build rapport and trust with potential sellers.
Familiarity with CRM software and data entry.
Basic understanding of real estate transactions.
Prior experience in land sales, acquisitions or customer service is a plus.
