**Position Overview:**
As an Appointment Setter at Barbizon, you will play a crucial role in connecting with potential students and inviting them to attend a complimentary workshop at our NYC flagship office in Times Square. We prioritize a respectful and non-intrusive approach, meaning no cold calling will be involved. Instead, you will leverage our existing leads and engage in warm, conversational calls to generate interest and drive sales.

**Key Responsibilities:**
– Conduct outbound calls to warm leads provided by our internal lead database (our marketing team generates leads through promotional events at malls and online advertising).
– Invite and confirm leads to attend an in person complimentary workshop and interview with one of our Talent Directors
– Answer any questions potential students may have
– Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and outcomes

**Requirements:**
– Previous experience in telemarketing/appointment setting
– Excellent verbal communication skills with an ability to build rapport over the phone.
– Strong active listening skills to understand needs and address them effectively.
– Capacity to work part-time hours (possibility of expanding hours to full time)
– Proficiency in basic computer applications and ability to navigate CRM systems.
– Weds/Thurs/Fri 3pm-8pm EST, with possibility of expanding hours to M-F.
