Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Real Estate Researcher/Appraiser Trainee to join our team. The ideal candidate must have experience in preparing real estate appraisals.
8-9 hour work day on a Eastern Time Zone Schedule to coincide with our corporate office schedule.

Responsibilities:
• The job entails searching the MLS, Costar, Realquest, Zillow and other real estate data sources.
• Analyzing market data.
• Entering property data into form appraisal in Total.
• Investigate and gather data for an opinion of the value of residential real estate, including but not limited to comparable data, market statistics, tax and assessment data, etc.
• Loading comparables into appraisal reports.
• Importing photos, data, drawing floorplans and formatting data submitted by a field inspector.
• Possess and develop skills to fully develop valuation analysis, conclusions, and appraisal reports accurately and on time.
• Managing job status in multiple web-based portals.
• Upload and download files to field inspectors & appraisers.
• Deliver high levels of customer service to clients, lenders, homeowners, or points of contact.

Requirements:
• Experience in multifamily and single-family appraisals.
• Experience with Alamode Software (Wintotal, Total), Spark, Excel.
• Embrace and complete modern collaborative valuations.
• Motivated Self-starter with high energy.
• Efficient time management & results driven.
• Strong communication skills with attention to detail.
• Produce high quality reports accurately and within SLA expectations and company guidelines.
• Identify and resolve issues related to appraisals as they arise.
• Stay current and up to date on market and economic conditions.
• Integrate use of various technologies throughout the appraisal process.
• Conduct other projects or duties as assigned.

Knowledge/Skills:
• Good working knowledge of appraisal software, report development, requirements, and appraisal methodology.
• Demonstrated ability to act with integrity and reputability.

• Ability to complete front half of reports and work with senior team members to develop skills to complete the comparable analysis and sales approach.
