Architect

Step into the world of architectural homes!
We are looking for a architect specializing in working drawings to join our architect’s office. The architect will be responsible for turning our existing concept designs into full sets of working drawings ready for construction.

Your daily responsibilities would include:
1. Work with our head designer for new projects to work on
2. Update the design team with timeframes for completion
3, Create revisions based on the design team’s feedback

Required technical skills and experience:
To qualify for this position you will need at least 2 years in the following:
1. Experience with using Archicad to create fully developed detailed designs and working drawings
2. Experience with designing for different councils and different regions around the world

We work in a fast paced industry. So it’s really important that our 3D Visualiser would be:
A fast learner – especially with new software
Pays close attention to detail
Follow instructions to the letter

Basic skills:
In addition to having excellent English skills, you’ll need to use the applications we listed below. You don’t need to be an expert in all of them, but you need to be at least familiar with most of them.
Archicad
Twin Motion
Dropbox
Gmail and other email applications
Google Docs
Communications apps like zoom, skype etc
Project Management software (Click to view)
Time management or time tracking software

Desired Technical Skills:
We are looking for someone who can grow with us and rise from the ranks. If you have the following skills, this can help you:
1. A knowledge of the building I-Codes
2. Experience drafting for a U.S based design firm
3. Knowledge and understanding of a relevant building code (preference NZ building code, but other countries are similar so are happy to look at other countries too).

As we grow and develop a keen interest in this area is a must as the successful candidate will be trained with new technologies.

Work schedule and Holidays:
This is a fulltime position, Monday to Fridays, flexible hours
You’ll qualify for 3 vacation leaves and 3 sick leaves after a 6 month probation period.
We honour most Filipino holidays except for All Saints and All Souls day.
